Youth Select

Expanding upon the success of our High School Summer Select and Slammers High School Fall Select Programs, we are thrilled to introduce the Slammers Select Youth Program. Designed to offer the same high-level training and competition, this program is tailored for younger players.

The Slammers Select Youth Program operates during the spring and summer seasons, commencing training sessions in January and initiating games in March, which culminate by July. Our training sessions take place at our Englewood and Broomfield locations, providing convenient access for participants.

Our youth teams predominantly participate in tournaments, with some teams also engaging in league play. The majority of our select tournament teams compete in the Majors, AAA, and a select few in AA divisions, ensuring a competitive yet developmental environment for all participants.

We are excited about the opportunity to nurture young talent and provide a platform for their growth and success within the Slammers Select Youth Program.

Parents can expect their children to participate in 11-12 tournaments annually, with 1 to 3 of these events taking place out-of-state. It’s important to note the comprehensive offerings of our program:

The primary objective of the Slammers Select Youth Program is to provide tailored training for each individual and team, aligning with their age and skill levels.

Consistency is paramount in our approach. We are committed to delivering consistent coaching and instruction, day after day and year after year. We believe that this consistency is the cornerstone of young athletes’ development.

Our track record speaks volumes. In the High School divisions, 95% of our players have successfully transitioned to collegiate or professional baseball. This achievement underscores the effectiveness and success of our program in nurturing talent and preparing athletes for the next level.

By focusing on individualized training, fostering consistency, and leveraging our proven track record, we aim to empower young athletes

The Slammers Select Youth Program is one of the most competitive youth programs in the country.

We are excited to announce that we have teams available in every age group, ranging from 8U to 14U, within the Slammers Select Youth Program. To determine team placement, players will undergo a comprehensive tryout covering hitting, fielding, pitching, and catching. Catchers are requested to bring their full gear for evaluation.

Parents and players should anticipate receiving an invitation within 3-4 business days following the tryout, informing them of team availability and their placement. We kindly request that those not interested in joining a Slammers team refrain from attending tryouts.

During tryouts, coaches from various teams will be present, actively scouting for talent. You may be approached by multiple coaches offering team placements. To assist parents in making informed decisions, we will provide a sheet listing the available teams at Slammers, their respective levels, and the number of open spots on each team.

We look forward to seeing the talent and enthusiasm at the tryouts and to welcoming new members to the Slammers family.
